This is ridiculous. Frito-Lay, who manufacture Sun Chips, have gone back to a non-biodegradable bag after consumers said that the new compostable bag was too noisy. In fairness, Frito-Lay are committed to using compostable bags, but it just seems crazy that people who eat these snacks would rather have a quiet bag that damages the environment than a noisy one that will go back to nature.
How noisy can a bag be, anyway?
