David Cameron visits Ice Energy

Ice Energy Technologies welcomed a return visit from Prime Minister David Cameron to their Oxfordshire headquarters.

The visit was well timed, being just over 24 hours after the confirmation of the “Renewable Heat Incentive” (RHI) in the Comprehensive Spending Review.

Ice Energy is the country’s leading supplier of combined renewables including Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV. The Prime Minister on his visit was taken on an exciting tour of the latest renewable solutions available to both domestic and commercial marketplaces.

Ice Energy Joint Managing Director Andrew Sheldon said, “We had an excellent discussion on renewables and their benefits in reducing fuel poverty and creating employment opportunities in the Green sector”.

Ice Energy Joint MD Andrew Hillier added, “Our staff welcomed the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister while answering his insightful questions about renewable technologies which confirmed his personal interest and knowledge on the subject.”

Commenting on the visit Mr Cameron said, “Ice Energy is an innovative and exciting renewable energy company in my constituency and I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit. Ice Energy has certainly got a strong part to play in the plans I set out today to create a new ‘economic dynamism’ that will build confidence and lead to growth and jobs in our country.”
